My idea

I have made a final decision on what i am going to do for my wise project. I might change my mind later, but hopefully i wont. Ok, i was thinking of making a video of how animals are treated in laughterhouses an add a bit of depressing music so that people really understand what im trying to tell them. And also, i will make a diorama of a slaughterhouse. I wont make it too graphic and gruesome but i will add things such as blood and animals in cages. I want people to see the harsh reality of a slaughterhouse and what really goes on in there. People need to know where their meat comes from and they should chose whether they want those animals to suffer or whether they want to save their lives.

Time line

I need to write out a time line for my WISE project, so that I know what to do each week and how I'm going to fit everything in. I have decided that for the first few weeks of term 2, I will mostly be doing research on Vegetarianism and Animal cruelty. I will look up information on PETA and find some good information that I will need for my project. After I have done all my research, I will start to plan what i will be painting and how i will make my YouTube video.

Wise Project

I have decided that I will do my project on vegetarianism and why we shouldnt eat meat. I am going to tell people the truth about meat and why we shouldnt kill animals just for our pleasure. It's kinda a philosophical topic, because everyone has different opinions. But this is something that i feel strongly about. The title of my project will be "Meat is Murder". It's going to relate to stewardship to the community. I'm going to make a YouTube video and paint a huge paining on a canvas. I don't know what to paint yet though. I will also get more information of the PETA site and images from the internet.

My WISE project

For my WISE project, we have to raise awareness for something that we feel strongly about. I am still at the stage where i look at different topics and decide which one would be best for me to do. I have chosen around four different topics. 

-Animal Cruelty

-Vegetarianism

-Slaughterhouses

-Animal Rights

All of these have something in common. They all raise awareness for animals and the way that they are treated. This is something that I feel strongly about. I have researched vegetarianism and animal cruelty a lot and i have a lot of information to back me up with my argument. There are more reasons for why we shouldn't eat meat than why we should. In the next few weeks im going to research and find images on the internet.
